Job description, responsibilities and duties

About the Team
You will be part of ASCS and will work with colleagues in various functions and locations and taking ownership of the Data Management responsibilities needed to support deal costing and the development and refinement of our costing framework. Corporate Solutions is in a dynamic phase of growth and we are continuously updating our costing models in support of new products and growing markets. We are seeking individuals who are attracted to work and contribute in a dynamic and growing environment.

About The Role
•You will be collecting the data from several sources (internal and external insurance documents)
•You will entering the data into internal database
•You will performing the start-to-end process of data preparation used for actuarial modelling work
•You will be supporting data preparation and analysis for modelling and deal costing work
•You will collect, collate and enter data required for costing model and parameter update studies
•You will review data for accuracy and completeness
•You will systematically input account information and historical loss data into our internal system and tools and review them to ensure entered values are correct
•You will work closely with underwriting and actuarial teams to communicate missing data, potential errors, and unusual situations
•You will compile and categorize data for use in development of new models and rating methods
•Work on operational improvements and their implementation
•Occasional travel

Please note that this is a temporary employment contract due to long-term sick leave.

Information about the selection process

About you
•You have a Bachelor's Degree/Master's degree
•Knowledge and understanding of Re-/ Insurance business is a plus
•Advanced in English (reading, written and verbal)
•Other European language (at least ability to read and understand) is an advantage
•Experience with Microsoft Office Package
•Strong ability to review results
•Ability to identify missing information, collaborate with others to fix data issues, and ensure accurate data entry
•Excellent reading comprehension
•Applies knowledge to technical and processing tasks through daily activities and responsibilities
•Ability to provide administrative and technical support for the respective business unit
•Ability to work both independently or reciprocally while establishing priorities
•Demonstrates strong social skills and ability to build and maintain effective working relations with people in a multi-cultural environment
•Ability to adapt to fast growth, change and demand
•Actively contributing to the team spirit
•Know-how of commercial insurance products would be a plus
