Team Leader of Life & Health Underwriting with English and French

Together with the Manager of L&H Support team you will build and lead a team of underwriters to support all of our European markets. Team leading ambitions and strong language skills will be essential to us achieving our goals, as will the ability to handle multiple internal partners.
You will report to the Manager L&H UW Support based in Bratislava, and will work frequently with each of the per country underwriting units.
You should have previous team leading experience, background in either insurance or reinsurance is advantage, training for the individual life underwriting will be given.

Key tasks:
As a Team Leader, you will:
- Help to recruit your team members, support their development and empower them to achieve their goals,
- Understand and implement the strategy through clear plans that can be executed effectively,
- Collaborate with the UW Managers across the Hub and clients.

As an underwriter, you will:
- Registration and allocation of underwriting cases via our administrative system
- Examine medical and financial documents received and establish a recommendation with the help of our internal underwriting tool and our Chief Medical Officers
- Client facing activities, such as trainings and audits, initially in preparation, and eventually onsite
- Assistance with translation of our underwriting related tools
