About the role
Do you want to build a new team applying new ways of working? Are you curious on how to run HR as a forward-looking and commercial business? You will be responsible to lead a team providing services to various HR departments (Reward, Organisation & People Development, HR EMEA and HR Service Delivery) to run their businesses.
Curious what your key responsibilities look like for you and your team?
Implement a clear mandate for the new HR Business Management Services team with a consistent service portfolio and products, but at the same time incorporate flexibility to adapt to the different business needs
Provide strategic support and advice on how to run these abovementioned HR departments
Drive operational excellence by role modelling customer focus, monitoring operational performance and metrics defined
Lead the HR department planning especially in terms of demand and capacity
Drive the budgeting, financial planning and cost tracking
Responsible for governance activities such as risk management, policy management and drive a culture to raise issues and operational events
Act as the Communication Champion or Change Champion based on the needs of the respective HR department
Lead or support projects and initiatives
Maintain positive relationship with relevant partners within the HR departments, but also with teams outside such as HR Customer Experience, People Analytics, Cost Controlling and Operational Risk Management
Lead, coach and develop the HR Business Management Services team
Additionally you directly support the divisional HR Business Management team to run the HR Division such as:
Manage one or multiple divisional topics as subject matter expert (e.g. divisional budget across HR or demand management etc.)
Support recurring activities (e.g. rolling demand plan), ad-hoc activities and divisional projects

About the team
We are a small and dynamic team which supports the senior HR leaders to run HR as a commercial and compliant function with discipline, rigor and commercial awareness. With the centralisation of business management activities into Bratislava, the team will grow slightly in 2019.
In the mandate we cover topics such as strategy and planning, financial management, project portfolio governance, community building, risk management and the support of the Chief Human Resource Officer. The broad range of topics give us a unique insight and oversight which enables us to pursue topics holistically.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Personality requirements and skills

5+ years of leadership experience in building and managing teams and driving a service culture, ideally in similar environments
Significant subject matter experience in designated area of focus (Finance, Operational Risk Management, Consultancy, HR Planning, Metrics etc.)
Experience in managing projects, leading change and working with agile methodologies
Ability to drive continuous improvements and think outside of the box
Strong analytical skills to create a compelling story or business case
Comfortable with ambiguity and proven success in working in a highly matrixed environment
Demonstrate ability to build and manage relationships across the hierarchies
Ability to handle highly sensitive, confidential information and situations
Strong influencing and social skills including operating across cultural boundaries
High level of integrity, trustworthiness and stress resistance
Demonstrate a collaborative approach using teamwork across organisations
Highly flexible, engaged and accountable
Strong communicator in English (verbal and written) and able to convince people
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, savvy learner of new tools
