About the role

Have you ever wondered how it feels to be responsible for a whole company´s financial documents? Or have you perhaps had questions on how the whole lifecycle of financial data looks like, from the initial input up to the moment it is published externally?

We are looking for a qualified and highly motivated Reporting & Analysis Professional to join our Carrier Reporting & Analysis Services teams. Jointly and in close collaboration with Carrier team in Luxembourg, we play a pivotal Finance role of preparing, analyzing and reporting of financial information for all valuations for one of the biggest legal entity of our Group.

We provide you the chance to gain a deep understanding of our business and the multi-valuation and multi-dimensional reporting of a major legal entity of the Reinsurance industry leader. You will collaborate closely with other professionals that will support your professional and personnel development. You will work in a lively and fast-paced environment.

As a member of our team you will prepare, analyse and report financial information of the legal entity for US-GAAP and local accounting standards.

Main tasks of our team:
•We execute the quarterly close of the US-GAAP and local financial documents (statements) by handling the closing process and performing quality assurance activities and provide accounting mentorship
•We steer the analytical information process and review information received from other teams as well as perform analytical procedures for all valuation to understand the legal entity's story line
•We support projects and large transactions from an accounting and reporting perspective
•We provide comprehensive financial and variance analysis and business commentaries with regards to reporting, consolidation and reconciliation activities according to requirements
•We prepare on a quarterly and annually basis qualitative reporting to Board of Directors, your higher level management or other internal clients as well as reporting to regulatory bodies on local accounting standards
•We ensure that we execute on high-quality, for all reporting deliverables, in line with established processes and deliverables
•We improve processes and systems to ensure compliance with the risk and control framework and requirements, and also to meet internal management expectations
•We establish a network and closely collaborate with the professionals across the organization

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Microsoft Excel - Advanced

Personality requirements and skills

About You:
•You have a university degree, preferably in finance/accounting/economics, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience, audit experience would be an advantage
•You have knowledge and experience in the preparation of financial documents, ideally in the financial industry
•Strong command of Microsoft Excel and Power Point, knowledge of SAP is a plus
•Excellent command of English language
•You take pleasure from analytical tasks, and have ability to apply good business judgement and deliver high-quality output independently
•Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and on your own initiative
•Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
•You learn and quickly and efficiently adapt to changes
•Highly motivated individual used to working in a highly performance driven, professional and international environment
