About the role

Would you like to become a Sourcing Specialist who would bring experienced sourcing and procurement services to internal customers in area of IT Services specifically in Network and Telecommunications?

Do you want to support a variety of initiatives to reduce costs and support processes that improve the quality of goods and services provided to their internal customers and work to ensure that all vendors serving Swiss Re help the organization meet its business goals?

What would be your main responsibilities?:
•Full Procure to Pay Sourcing lifecycle executions both project/BAU in relation to Network Services, Infrastructure and Telecoms using standard methodologies.
•Handling global commercial negotiations and contract process for Telecommunications contracts
•Manage the contract process for Telecommunication Contracts and Service Agreements, conduct legal reviews and necessary due diligence as assigned
•Execute comprehensive RFX process and support internal customers in timely manner
•Management of suppliers within the sub-commodities, e.g. connectivity, network and telcomm services, (including contract negotiations, contract renewals, payment queries, supplier evaluation and development, annual reviews etc.)
•Supporting to category manager to review and approve purchase orders in internal system; ensure that correct contract and contract condition are in place
•Support the Category Manager to define the Category Strategy the Category Plan and to execute the plan.
•Support the Category Manager in understanding demand for services.
•Responsible for providing input to the Sourcing Manager - Slovakia

About the team

You would become a part of the Regional Sourcing Team in Bratislava, a unit within Global Business Solutions. We are a global Team spread across four locations with access to the global Sourcing Network. We support Category Sourcing from EMEA regions in area of IT Services, HR& Professional Services and Corporate Real Estate Services.

Personality requirements and skills

About You
•You have a bachelor’s degree preferably in economics, business administration or information technologies.
•You have minimum of 3 years of lead experience in sourcing Network and Telecommunication services in a global organization with multi-million Euro contracts.
•You have strong negotiations skills and can demonstrate focused delivery of significant cost savings/service improvements in this sub-category.
•You have good knowledge of, market players, key market trends, commercial drivers, cost levers of the specific category
•You are highly experienced in negotiating commercially and contractually with global vendors in this sub category.
•You have hands-on advanced procure to pay process experience (Requirements Gathering, Market Analysis, Vendor Evaluations, Due Diligence, Risk Assessment, Commercial & Contractual negotiations etc)
•Excellent verbal and written command of English (other language is desirable, German would be advantageous)
•You have excellent partner management skills and the ability build maintain and grow relationships with senior clients in a virtual environment.
•Having a can-do attitude, a problem solver, able to navigate ambiguity and focused on customer outcomes.
