About the Role
You will be at the heart of the Customer Experience and Analytics team and work with three different groups to gather and translate visual design requirements and produce accordingly.

In collaboration with Customer Experience Managers and User Experience Designers, you
- Design beautiful user interfaces
- Create engaging graphics to be used in web applications
- Review and propose changes to existing user interfaces
In collaboration with Customer Engagement Specialists you
- Help create visuals for web and email marketing items, presentation/event materials in line with Swiss Re's branding guidelines
- Source images and other visual elements (stock photos, icons, video footage) as required
In the context of Customer Insights and Analytics, you
- Consult our data scientists and analysts how to translate complex data content into compelling, easy-to-understand visuals

About the Team
Customer Experience and Digital Delivery (CEDD) is mandated to shape and improve Customer Experience and drive the Digital Transformation within Group Operations and Group Functions, across divisions, services and touchpoints – beyond traditional silos. In addition, the unit delivers managed Customer Care services on behalf of Group Operations Divisions through multiple channels and acts as a single point of contact for customers through ContactOne (central Portal and Service Desk) for all Group Operations services.

You will part of Customer Experience & Analytics (CXA) team. It's a young, dynamic team which is on the exciting journey to build up and act as a centre of expertise to design and manage Customer Experience across Group Operations. We generate customer insights to identify customer needs and reflect these by appropriate solution design and improvement measures that enhance our internal clients' satisfaction. The team plays an active role in building and shaping customer communities and
ensure smooth customer communications via various channels. During Solution Design and Implementation, we help Group Operations to successfully deliver projects not just from a functional or technical but also from the people side and ensure all necessary activities to obtain buy-in, adoption, effective utilisation and proficiency of customers and service delivery units.

While most of your peers and many of your key stakeholders are based in Zurich (Switzerland), the team is composed of an international workforce based in different locations and serving a global customer basis.

Personality requirements and skills

• Ability to translate complex ideas and concepts into simple and understandable illustrations/visuals
• Have a passion for creating beautiful and insanely functional experiences in online environments
• Use humour in graphics to engage viewers
• Good eye for layouts and distributing visual weight
• Quick at grasping concepts and understanding context of a task
• Proficient with creative process such as personas, storyboards, mood boards, prototyping, etc.
• Proficient in working with PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Flash, Dreamweaver
• Excellent visual, written and verbal communication skills, you like (visual) story-telling
• Strong organisational, time management skills and has attention to detail
• Can work under pressure, has good stress-resistance
• You are very approachable, have customer-centricity in your DNA as well as a solution-oriented mindset. You love people! As an outgoing personality, you genuinely like to co-create with your colleagues and customers.
• Be able to work autonomously and proactively identify and (constructively) resolve issues arising.
• The ideal candidate has experience in designing user interfaces as well as designing graphics and can show us examples
Formal requirements
• Minimum of 3 years' professional experience in the area of Visual Design, UI Design and/or Graphic Design
• University degree preferred
• Fluent or native in English
