We are seeking a Senior Technical Accounting Manager EMEA to join our technical accounting team in our Bratislava office reporting to the Head Technical Accounting EMEA.
The Senior Technical Accounting Manager will have leadership or oversight responsibility for the local insurance credit control/TA teams who handle EMEA wide business. The role holder will build, support and manage the relationships with partners and stakeholders across EMEA.
The candidate must possess the right balance of leadership, people management, change management and the tactical experience to drive efficiency, service and process improvements. The role holder will be a key point of contact with internal customers as well as a change agent in a dynamic and growing organization

Leadership and motivation of teams of responsibility, with overall responsibility to:
• Work closely with the Head TA EMEA and Operations leadership team to implement strategic initiatives, deliver key priorities and implement organizational changes needed to address the future state operational model and growth plans of Corporate Solutions.
• Lead, manage and engage the technical accounting teams to deliver on targets with a results oriented focus.
• Through strong leadership and business engagement, enhance the reputation and credibility of Technical Accounting with the business
• Develop and maintain strong business relationships with key customers in relation to Technical Accounting
• Drive process and efficiency improvements across all Technical Accounting aspects, whether through technology, process or organizational proposals.
• Ensure the teams are organized and resourced appropriately in order to deliver on the targets, deliverables and expectations of Technical Accounting
• Build on appropriate metrics and performance monitoring dashboards, utilizing the data to identify issues at an early stage and to support best practice and continuous improvement

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• 10+ of relevant experience gained within a corporate insurance environment at insurers or within a broking organisation, working in an operational capacity, with proven experience in credit control as relates to primary corporate insurance
• 5+ years of experience managing large teams within corporate insurance
• A proven ability to drive process efficiencies and transactional effectiveness]
• Results driven with strong change management skills
• Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
• Demonstrable experience of people development, talent and performance management
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, a proven ability to influence people and gain buy in to new ideas
• Language skills: English fluent written and spoken, any other European language is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills (clear, transparent, convincing) and negotiation skills, assertiveness.
• Ability to think globally and strategically and to develop and implement new concepts.
• Strong ethical and behavioural values.
• Ability to adapt to changes and implement them accordingly.
• Keen interest in global cooperation and multicultural working environment.
