About the team

Successful candidate will be part of the Facultative Business Services for business managed in EMEA countries. Risk Assessment Specialist specialist will support this team In a specific area of facultative property reinsurance. Business Services are the power-wheel in the mechanism between our internal clients and port of call for ail administrative tasks.

About the role

In this role you will know the structure, needs and potential of our clients and collaborate locally with other departments of the Swiss Re Group for the accomplishment of objectives of Division Europe.

The Risk Assessment Specialist will assist in maintenance of specific tool, act as the source of documentation, guidance on the request of the other colleagues. The support you will provide will be connected with administrative, technical and analytical skills.

Key accountabilities

Service delivery:
- creating databases of insured assets based on the information received from clients processing information in MS Excel and further in specific pricing tools assessing occupational hazards and geographical information of the reinsured assets assessing the natural catastrophe exposure communicating with internal stakeholders
- being the point of contact for the subject matter related queries from team members following the updates and new releases of the concerned IT tool and informing the team of relevant changes
- daily use of Swiss Re tools and applications and MS office package
- cooperating and coordinating tasks across internal teams
- other specific tasks as required by client facing staff and/or line manager

Other:
- Perform other position related tasks as instructed by Supervisor
- Any other ad hoc tasks as required from time to time

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Microsoft Excel - Advanced

About you

Education:
- at least secondary

School Language:
- fluency in English language
- any further European language knowledge is an advantage

Skills and knowledge:
- excellent command of MS Office package (Excel: pivot tables, functions. Word, Power Point)
