About the role
The primary focus of this role is to deliver the iptiQ data management processes to receive & validate iptiQ's data out to the iptiQ business to support business steering and decision-making.
Your tasks will be:
• Provide technical leadership and best practices in the design, development and deployment of complex data models, data processes and data flows
• Analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes
• Translate business and data requirements into conceptual, logical and physical data models
• Lead partner workshops to design data integration processes
• Produce and document business and systems requirements
• Collaborate closely with our developers to implement the requirements
• Develop and execute test plans, provide necessary guidance to testers during the QA process
• Some travel to Swiss Re locations may be required

iptiQ EMEA is part of Swiss Re's Life Capital division which manages all our life & health primary insurance portfolios across Europe. iptiQ is a start-up, established to deliver creative protection solutions sold to consumers through Distribution Partners. Our team delivers the coordination, infrastructure and capabilities key to driving forward this new business, while working closely with the rest of the Swiss Re Group.

We are establishing an Operations Services team within Bratislava which will support the iptiQ Operations teams across Europe. iptiQ is a Luxembourg based insurer with Branches in UK, Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, France. iptiQ's Operations Services team supports the delivery of iptiQ's growth for these locations and other countries across Europe, currently Spain & Poland. We are looking for a creative self-starter to be part of this team with specific responsibility to deliver iptiQ's data management processes to ensure accurate, timely and business relevant reporting for iptiQ business steering.

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

• Experience working on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business
• Ability to architect, develop, test, debug and administer data engineering and analytics solutions
• Working in fast pace, highly demanding, international environment
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively build relationships and influence decisions
• Think outside of the box and Identify ways to increase adoption and client’s satisfaction
• Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive)
• You readily and openly engage in technical discussions, evaluating, conceptualizing, designing and executing development plans for data warehousing components
• You respond quickly to high priority requests by business leaders
• Have the drive, interest and ability to quickly and continuously learn new technologies is crucial
• Motivated and willing to take personal responsibility for quality and timeliness of work
• You are comfortable with ambiguity, capable of thinking big while paying attention to detail
• You bring ideas and passion that will fuel our next generation of growth at iptiQ

Formal Requirements
• University degree within a relevant area is preferred but not required
• 3-5 years within relevant areas, i.e. business analysis, data analysis, data warehousing and Business Intelligence
• Proficiency with one or more programming languages for data
• Expertise in one or more mainstream BI/DWH technologies
• English is iptiQ's business language and therefore essential
