Job description, responsibilities and duties

Local HR Bratislava is covering the people area by delivering people strategy in line with the function lines business strategy; setting up location wide processes and ensuring operational HR excellence for location wide management of approx 1.300 employees.

Our team consist of 25 professionals focusing on various areas like HR Partnering, Recruitment and Service Delivery. Our department is part of the wider EMEA HR community. We are operating in an environment that is business focused, dynamic, international, modern and diverse.

Business Partnering
Competent consultancy and support of business lines and enabling functions in Bratislava on HR topics, stakeholder managing also the functional leaders outside the location
Sparring partner for management and contact person for employees in HR related topics
Proactively implementing the people strategy, processes and initiatives
Providing change management know how for local and cross boarder projects
Cooperating closely with global HR partners and Centres of Expertise in Human Resources
Ensuring compliance with local legislation and regulatory requirements

Fields to cover:

Recruiting/Talent Management
Steering and supporting the Recruiting for senior positions in your area of responsibility with the hiring managers and the recruiting team
Supporting management in talent management agenda to ensure high performance teams

Facilitating local talent reviews
Support the development of career plans for top talent leveraging on Organizational effectiveness
Providing business input for further developing HR tools in the area of talent management to the Competence Centre where appropriate

People Performance and Engagement
Steering and supporting the end year process, calibration sessions
Steering the engagement surveys, GOSS (where appropriate) and managing the follow up process
Doing exit interviews and following up on feedback with the management team
Providing business input for developing HR tools in the area of Performance and Engagement to the Competence Centre where appropriate

Reward and Recognition
Supporting the management in compensation decisions
Providing input for sharpening policies and salary benchmarks to the Competence Centre where appropriate

Learning and development
Defining future capabilities (learning and development areas) together with the business lines to prepare employees for current and future challenges
Closely cooperate with local OE department and the Global Competence Centre.
Providing inputs to learning and development approaches and formats.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) and Slovak - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

•Strong personality with proactive, entrepreneurial approach (strong decision making abilities and accountability)
•Working autonomously while ensuring key clients and HR colleagues are looped in or consulted as necessary
•Excellent interpersonal/communication skills and social competence

•Flexibility to adapt and to optimize changing business situations, focused on output and not on working hours
•Proven track record in managing change and project work
•5-10 years of work experience as HR Generalist/Business Partner and/or relevant business field in an international context
•Preferably Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field
•Preferably business know how in the area of financial industries
•Experience and knowledge of L&D area
