About the role
The position holder is responsible for leading the key projects for the Non-Technical accounting function. You will lead different accounting projects and be involved in the tracking and completion of these projects, along with the documentation and presentation and reporting of results to upper management. You will assist with process improvement, identification and implementation.
Your job will include:
• Lead and coordinate various projects within the Non-Technical function
• Design and implement global and harmonized accounting processes such as leasing, software capitalization
• Collaborate with the team and internal partners to build a strong working relationship
• Track progress and present to management the results of the assigned projects
• Oversee and track the migration of tasks into the function
• Act as controls coordinator for the function in order to mitigate potential risks
• Coordinate and conduct quarterly account reconciliation process
• Ensure compliance with the risk and control framework and the audit requirements
• Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Any other ad hoc tasks as required

The Non- Technical accounting function started operations in Bratislava back in 2009. Over the last nine years we have grown to its current size with 25 professionals working in Bratislava. The entities which we manage are located in Europe, Africa and Asia. We have diverse accounting experiences and perform closely together as one team handling quarterly accounting closes and projects, and we always have some fun.

• You have a university degree in the area of finance, accounting, economics
• You possess five years relevant experience as a financial accountant or similar
• Background in audit or controls, would be advantageous
• Excellent social and interpersonal skills
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in SAP or Oracle is an advantage
• Fluent English written and spoken
• Adherence to deadlines to work on own initiative a requirement
• Advanced level on Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
