Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

You will support the Head of Compliance and the wider iptiQ Compliance Team in the identification, management and control of compliance risks for iptiQ Life, a retail life insurance company based in Luxembourg. You will also provide support in the execution of responsibilities as defined by the Swiss Re Compliance Charter and in accordance with regulations, standards and laws applicable to iptiQ's business across the EU.

About the role:
•You will support the development of the Compliance Programme and associated compliance risk mitigation standards for existing, new and changes to regulations including policies, guidelines, training and communication.
•You will support the Head of Compliance and Compliance Officers in the provision of enabling guidance and advice to the iptiQ EMEA team with respect to compliance requirements and implementation of the Compliance Programme.
•You will maintain and coordinate the review of iptiQ Compliance policies and guidelines.
•You will support the monitoring of regulatory developments, collate relevant information and send monthly business circulars to the wider team.
•You will coordinate the drafting and submission of Compliance reports internally and externally to regulators.
•You will maintain the Compliance reference library and regulatory required records (SharePoint site).
•You will research, create and deliver training to colleagues across the EU.
•You will support the Compliance Team in the management of financial crime risks.

About the team
The iptiQ EMEA Compliance Team, is part of the wider Group Compliance Function. We work closely with the business and external partners to ensure compliance with regulations, standards and applicable laws whilst supporting the growth of the business. We are located in branch offices across the EU.

Information about the selection process

•You are likely to hold a law degree or equivalent.
•You have some previous compliance experience but this is not essential as we are seeking an individual with an inquisitive mind, attention to detail and a strong desire to learn quickly.
•You may have some existing knowledge or understanding of EU Financial Services.
•You will have strong communication, organisation and time management skills.
•You are fluent in English (written and oral) and ideally have ability in other languages (German, Polish, French or Spanish).
•You are very proficient with MS Office (advanced Power Point skills essential).
