We in Organisation & People Development (OPD) are responsible for the design, planning and landing of various people development and learning programs. This includes strategic initiatives such as Strategic Resourcing, Talent Management, Executive Development, Engagement, Diversity and Inclusion as well as blended, classroom and digitized learning. OPD crafts Swiss Re's culture for business impact by providing simple, creative, and commercial solutions for current and future business challenges.
We, the regional OPD team, are specifically accountable to synthesize and bundle these solutions in a practical and impactful way. Together with the regional HR teams, we are co-accountable to implement and land the solutions smoothly. We also oversee BU-specific initiatives across the Region to ensure consistent delivery to the business.

As a part of the regional team, you will be involved in various areas of development, where you will collaborate very closely to plan, market and execute global and regional solutions delivery for the Americas region.
You will enjoy this role the most, if you are keen on managing a project and the delivery of solutions into the Region. We enable and equip HR Partners with meaningful material for a smooth roll-out, helping to land the OPD solutions. Do you find it exciting to work with tools and technology? • Through strong project management, steer and co-ordinate the planning, organisation and implementation of all OPD initiatives including regional execution.
• Take initiative to engage with OPD partners and cross functional teams for effective implementation.
• Partner with OPD regional Leads and OPD partners to tactically outline the delivery approach for OPD global solutions within Region Americas.
• Collaborate to leverage regional people analytics to inform regional delivery approach
• Help establish sustainable processes to implement OPD solutions globally and regionally
• Prepare, curate and update meaningful material including digital formats, platforms
• Ensure high quality of services and a smooth collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs), OPD regional Leads, OPD Partners
• Manage regional vendors & suppliers for training delivery including contracts and oversight of budget;' responsible for entries into the Cost tool
• Act as point of contact for OPD regional execution, including handling the demand planning, registration and enrollment of participants

The role provides support to Americas region which includes working hours between 1-9pm.

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Microsoft Excel - advanced
Microsoft Word - advanced
Microsoft PowerPoint - advanced

Personality requirements and skills

• Around 4-5 years of experience, preferably in Learning & Development area
• Excellent project management skills, including leading regional delivery of projects is preferred
• Educational background: Organisational Development, HR or related field; Bachelor a requirement
• Strong IT/ Digital skills (MS Office/ SharePoint/ Learning Technology/Knowledge platforms
• Experienced in creation and/or maintenance of on-line learning / content creation platforms
• Ability to work in an ambiguous environment of a global matrix organisation with changing priorities
• Passionate about education, learning and development
• Strong language skills - English is a requirement, Spanish/Portuguese a strong advantage
