Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for an open-minded and motivated Underwriting Support Consultant interested to take on a new challenge in the operational and steering area within the L&H Underwriting community. Your areas of responsibility would include:

• Support in projects related to the development of new versions of the L&H Underwriting Manual Life Guide (used by Swiss Re underwriters as well as our external clients)
• Control over system access (internal and external)
• Management of user help requests
• Reporting for Underwriting EMEA
• Represent EMEA Underwriting department in various global system development projects and topic forums
• Ownership and maintenance of our internal communication platform in order to build a strong underwriting community

You will be working closely with the various Underwriting teams serving EMEA markets (Europe, Middle East, Africa), and based within the team of underwriters located in Bratislava supporting the same region.

Depending on your skill set and abilities, this position offers the possibility to grow in the role and additional project type work can be assigned as and when required.

We are building a new team of underwriters and underwriting consultants who will support several markets across the EMEA region on the business side, including cases assessment and various client needs. We work closely with regional and cross-functional partners.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)
