Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Provide creative solutions to agile transformation issues: resistance to change, limited resources, conflicting priorities, lack of accountability
- Ability to utilize agile methods in a flexible manner that often includes traditional project management which can include hard deadlines/fixed dates at times
- Understand the various agile frameworks, events and artifacts (i.e. scrum, Kanban), where they are fit for purpose and how to implement/apply with new and existing teams
- Foster a continuous improvement environment in order to build high-performing technology squads
- Track and report on metrics for the team to measure progress, effectiveness of technical adoption, and maturity of the team
- Guide product management teams in their role, defining MVP’s, developing product roadmaps and release plans, writing stories and backlog prioritization and management
- Be part of the team and help define and implement the all-digital transformation strategy, roadmap, coaching and training plans, performance measurement and continuous improvement across the organization

iptiQ is a unit within the newly built Swiss Re Life Capital; established to deliver white-label life insurance solutions to be sold through partners, directly to consumers. iptiQ is young, motivated and technology driven team, organised to provide creative solutions for life insurance distributors across Europe that engage with consumers in non-traditional ways. Through our strong operational infrastructure, creative thinking, insurance know-how and ecommerce competences we want to drive the digitalization of the life insurance business in Europe.

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- Knowledge of the ITIL/Scrum methodology.
- Very good knowledge of JIRA and Confluence from application administrator perspective and user perspective
- Basic familiarity with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Development) concepts, methodologies and tools
- Experience with and interest in open source software communities
- Proven ability to work successfully with limited supervision
