Job description, responsibilities and duties

You will be part of the Strategic Initiatives team which works closely with the location head of Swiss Re Bratislava on strategic and operational topics. As a trusted partner to the location leadership, we facilitate Swiss Re Bratislava's journey to becoming a Center of Excellence. We handle key projects/initiatives which are essential to the location's development. By working on multiple projects you will collaborate with diverse partners across Swiss Re group.

• Bring your industry experience and methodologies to benefit our organisation.
• Plan, execute and deliver on multiple strategic projects impacting the location.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by timely delivery of project goals within required quality and budget.
• Effectively identify and mitigate key risks/issues impacting project delivery.
• Provide consulting expertise to business leaders on a broad range of topics such as transitions, operational excellence, governance, transformation projects, innovation etc.
• Contributing to initiatives that address the strategy for Bratislava.
• Collaborate to develop strong working relationships with key partners.

Requirements for the employee

University education (Master's degree)

Personality requirements and skills

• You are a self-starter with a ''can do'' attitude.
• You are a strong result oriented individual who can navigate ambiguity and deliver results.
• Excellent communicator with strong command of written and spoken English.
• Strong project management skills is a requirement.
• Ability to develop C-suite level presentations is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience, with at least 2 years of experience within the Insurance/Financial services industry is preferred.
• A university graduate with specialisation in Economics or Business management is preferred.
• Any experience in event management/coordination in a Multi-National Corporate would be an added advantage.
• Strong influencing skills with the focus on developing lasting stakeholder relationships in a multi-cultural work environment.
• Demonstrates high level of integrity and maintains confidentiality whilst working on key topics.
• Ability to understand the 'big picture' and translate requirements into daily operations.
