Corporate Solutions (CorSo) EMEA IT is a growing team supporting its stakeholders across the region. We are responsible for analysing, championing and implementing both change and project requests. As a function we cover the end-to-end insurance value chain for all Lines of Business written in CorSo with dotted reporting lines to the EMEA CEO and COO; as such our close relationship with the business is one of our strongest assets.

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions are looking for an insurance IT professional, or an insurance professional with a talent for Information Technology who prides themselves on understanding insurance markets, processes, and the applications that support them.

We need someone focused on the seeking out and delivering real efficiencies that positively affect our bottom line.



As a Client Service Analyst you will be involved in project and operational activities. As an EMEA IT representative we expect you to be able to align yourself closely with your customers so that you understand their processes, market and line of business specifics both in your home country and within the EMEA region. As such you should be in position to identify, specify, and manage the implementation of application enhancements within the regional and global Change Advisory Boards frameworks. The role will sometimes involve travel within the EMEA region at a rate of approximately 20%.

As the link between IT and the Business you will be working to specify, customize and deliver the next generation of Information Technology Solutions for Corporate Solutions. These solutions must focus on delivering efficiency through automation, customization, and global process alignment. To bring this in-house solution to life you will work hand-in-hand with your counterparts in Corporate Development, Operations and Underwriting. You must be able to hold your own in business centric workshops where you will bring innovative solutions to a complex solution landscape.

Ideally you already have a deep knowledge of the Corporate Insurance value chain for both domestic and international Co-Insurance business, and understand the inherent end-to end challenges of managing this business, and software delivery efficiently.

In this role you will report to the EMEA regional Client Service Manager and be part of a small team of Client Service Analysts collectively working towards the goal making of CorSo a leading player in the global administration of insurance programs.

Personality requirements and skills

•Become an expert user of all systems used by Underwriting, Claims and Operations in your countries;
•Develop an expert, hands-on understanding of the processes and procedures that guide your countries daily business activities across the whole value chain.
•Work closely with your Centre of Excellence and OPEX counterparts to ensure these processes and procedures are grounded in global unity but customized and tuned for local efficiency;
•Ensure that your stakeholders are aware of the 3 year IT roadmap, and that they also understand how it will benefit them in their daily activities;
•Consistently and comprehensively work to remove all pain points from your stakeholders daily activities whilst being mindful of regional and global standards;
•Pro-actively relay concerns and opportunities from your stakeholders to the Regional Client Service Manager;
•Champion requests, improvements, and look for synergy in your country and region on a global level with your CSA counterparts;
•Consult with Corporate Solutions business on IT solutions and proactively anticipate, identify and communicate business needs;
•Educate and train your stakeholders add ensure they are kept up to date with system enhancements;
•Collaborate and share knowledge with the other CSA's in your regional team. Where it makes sense also share knowledge globally with the CSA network.
•Support the Corso EMEA IT team in the definition of a reporting framework for the end to end Service Delivery of Corso IT;
•Support the development of refined Operating Models in close collaboration with Enterprise Architecture;
•Carry out problem analysis and documentation of business challenges. Prepare options and drive decision-making process applying change management processes, as appropriate;
•Support the assessment, specification and implementation of software changes for the current application landscape;
•Involvement in future projects in the field of Corporate Solutions IT, participating in business case development and project definition.
•Be accountable for the Corso Bratislava Operations and CorSo EMEA IT relationship and EES results; and,
•Ensure that our customers understand the changes rolled out on our core administration platforms (e.g. Manhattan, Corflow UW, and Corflow Claims) before and after releases
