We are looking for an excellent and expert communications professional to lead internal and external communications initiatives that position and promote our rapidly expanding operation in Bratislava. This exciting opportunity sits within the EMEA Communications team, is the Business Partner for the Slovakia Country Head and is a member of the Bratislava Executive Leadership Team.

Key to success will be promoting our brand internally and externally as an excellent employer committed to our staff. This will include external engagement strategies targeting universities and professional associations to attract the brightest and best students and experts. You will also help raise our brand visibility, drive effective media and PR activities and help unite our staff through internal and leadership communications.

The Opportunity
The Communications Manager Slovakia will improve Swiss Re's brand locally through the generation of content supporting our branding and PR activities (gathering, coordinating input, editing, writing, handling internal/external agencies, etc). You will develop employer brand messaging aligned with Swiss Re's Employee Value Proposition and raise our brand visibility through targeted channels. You will be encouraged to build and maintain proven relationships with media in close collaboration with Group Media Relations and will identify and harness a broad range of relevant engagement platforms to reach our many audiences.
You will develop and execute traditional and social media plans and, as our local brand consultant and team member, ensure compliance with brand guidelines. Promote Swiss Re's brand attributes and visual/verbal style across all touch points. As someone who is focused on continuous improvement and personal growth, you will ensure that critical metrics are set, met and evaluated.

• Facilitates change management efforts

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

•You have a Bachelor degree
•You bring 8+ years of professional experience in branding, PR and/or events
•You have excellent English and Slovak oral and writing skills
•You will have working experience in Slovakia, preferably with a multinational company
•You show deep cross-cultural understanding
•You have outstanding influencing/networking capabilities
•Your mindset will be creative
•You will have strong planning and project management capability
•You are an experienced user of social media and new media tools and use them creatively to position your business
•Local knowledge of key agencies and associations in Slovakia
•Practice in Global Services Offices, financial services or B2B
•Excellent MS Office skills
