About the Role

Are you looking for an opportunity in IT where you can apply your technical skills and help your team to success? The Digital Workplace team is seeking SharePoint Migration Assistant.

As a SharePoint Migration Assistant, you will be working on an exciting project to move content from on premise SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online. Working with the rest of the SharePoint team you will be analyzing SharePoint sites, SharePoint content, and then reviewing and fixing any migration issues/problems in order to move that content into SharePoint Online, or file shares (cloud or on premise).

You will have overview of SharePoint and collaborating with the team on migration tasks.

In your engagement, you will be:
- Monitor and check SharePoint migrations
- Work /Operate the migration tool (Content Matrix from Metalogix)
- Assist in resolving defects that occur as a result of the migration process (3rd level support)
- Review and perform manual migrations from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online as needed
- Use cutting edge tools - Power apps, Power Automate (Flow), Azure
- Collaborate directly with SharePoint Site Owners to support them throughout the migration process

About You

What do you need as a successful SharePoint Migration Assistant?

Essentials:
- Suitable also for Graduates with IT background
- Experience with SharePoint/Office 365 is a plus
- Experience configuring SharePoint sites, webs, pages, lists and libraries
- Scripting skills using PowerShell are an advantage
- Curious and willing to work in an AGILE environment using SCRUM methodology

- You are technically savvy in the area of O365 with a specific focus on SharePoint on premise and SharePoint Online
