About the role
This role will be a major contributor to the development and implementation of Swiss Re`s Client Virtualization Stack (XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler, AppSense, Avecto). Furthermore this role will have an essential role in moving the various Citrix related services to the cloud (Private/Public/Hybrid).
Furthermore this role will have to support on escalations from Operations and act as a last line of defense for any Citrix related issues before they get escalated to the vendor (L4 support).

The Digital Workplace Engineering and Operations team is responsible for managing Swiss Re's workplace clients globally. With this role, we aim to strengthen the Digital Workplace Engineering and Operations team with a focus on the Client Virtualization Stack.

- Strong PowerShell Scripting and Automation Skills
- Good Microsoft HyperV 2012/2016 Skills
- Good AppSense 8.9/10.1 Skills (Environment Manager / Application Manager)
- Good understanding of Client Security concepts and solutions
- Good Understanding of release pipelines in a non persistent VDI Environment
- Good Citrix Solution Design / Implementation skills
- Experience with AppSense and/or Avecto Defendpoint is a plus
- Windows Group Policy Management
- Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
- Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2012/2016
- Good documentation skills in Wiki systems
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging workplace technology trends and developments
- Carry out proofs of concept, designs and implementation projects in the area of Client
- Virtualization
- Product lifecycle management for a defined stack of products
