Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Consults customers on access management issues, fulfils service requests, resolves incidents and contributes to problem resolutions for access and identity management in a way that customers receives an outstanding experience.
• Ensures customer oriented communication and consulting. Translates "IT to customer"
• Provides on-boarding, off-boarding, transfers and access requests in a timely and effective manner adhering to departmental standards, policies and OLAs, minimizing the adverse impact of incidents and service failures on business operations.
• Resolves access and identity related problems in a timely manner according to defined KPIs and escalates where necessary.
• Consults customers on ordering the appropriate access rights to business applications and infrastructure components incl. folder management providing an outstanding customer service experience.
• Accompanies the automation of User Access management tasks. Ensures troubleshooting capabilities and proper documentation.
• Participation in projects to bring user access management to the next level
• Communicates timely, appropriately, clearly and targeted to both internal as well as to team members.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• Experience within an access management and/or IT delivery environment as well as with end-user support.
• General IT knowledge, especially on security systems and admin platforms like Windows, Active Directory as well as access administration of business applications.
• Basic ITIL knowledge (especially incident, problem management and request fulfilment) and proven experience in best practices.
• Service Now, Excel and SQL experience is a plus
• Basic knowledge in project management is an asset.
• Willingness for flexible working times and on-call duty
• "Out of the box thinker" who delivers best service to our customers

Education and certifications/training:

• Degree or qualification in an IT related discipline or equivalent technical and business experience

• Language requirements:
English both written and oral, any additional language is a plus (German)
