About the role
Understand US GAAP and Economic Value measurement (EVM) reporting deliverables across Asset Management Finance
Assist in the preparation of weekly projections of U.S. GAAP investment results for senior management and the Business Divisions
Prepare detailed reconciliations between the reported data and key sources to ensure consistency/ accuracy
Investigate key discrepancies/variances in data and advance findings to Head AM Financial Reporting, as necessary
Validate appropriate accounting treatment/methodology in preparing financial reports; collaborate with External Reporting when required
Liaise with other internal functions (e.g. Group CFO Office, Chief Investment Office, Finance Operations, Treasury, Investor Relations)
Prepare presentations for team management to monitor ad-hoc project progress and present to AM Finance teams and other partners
About the team
As the Financial Analyst within Asset Management, you will work on the production and delivery of key US GAAP deliverables: Projections of profit and loss for the year, FX estimates, Analyst and investor presentations (posted on company website) and Q&A, Group results conference as well as reports for Board of Directors (BOD) and Executive Committees.
You will participate on preparation and analysis of reporting results of shareholder economic valuation (EVM) for the Group. You will consolidate financial data from key sources, calculating financial ratios and metrics, performing detailed reconciliations and preparing various reports. This includes analysing large sets of data in Excel and presenting results of analysis in PowerPoint.

Our work is demanding since we have to adhere to tight deadlines, but it's also very interesting and rewarding. We closely collaborate with our colleagues in New York and London.
