You will be driving the continuous improvement of Compliance Risk Frameworks (eg policies, processes, training, tools) and defining and implementing a strategic change in the way we deliver Compliance training.

You will perform the following:
- Develop own subject matter expertise on global regulatory requirements, related Swiss Re processes and monitoring activities in relation to the assigned Compliance Risks. You are responsible for doing this in close cooperation with other Compliance teams to understand business implementation and challenges and regulatory developments to identify implications and potential improvements to the Risk Frameworks.
- Responsible for contributing to Compliance reporting, presentations, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and risk assessments in relation to assigned Compliance Risks and ensuring global reporting accurately reflects the risk across Swiss Re.
- Act as Business Owner of tools (eg defining, prioritising and testing change requests, supporting training and awareness of the tools) related to assigned Compliance Risks to ensure they are maintained to facilitate the mitigation of Compliance Risk and also to facilitate ease of use for employees.
- Support building of Compliance Risk knowledge within Compliance by preparing and delivering training and reference materials and ensuring these remain up to date and easily accessible.
- Defining and implementing the compliance training and awareness strategy across all Compliance Risks using different means including working with vendors and creating own training with user authoring tools.

Additional responsibilities
- Support operational activities within the team's mandate such as supporting use of MyCompliance (one stop shop for all Compliance information) and related processes, and Policy Governance processes
- Participate in Legal & Compliance Divisional and Compliance projects to support the delivery of Legal & Compliance Strategy and the Annual Compliance Plan.

About the team
The Compliance Programme, Policy & Awareness team is part of the Compliance Governance Framework team which is a global team responsible for managing the entire Compliance Governance Framework group wide. The team has been operating for approximately three years. Our team members are located in Switzerland, US and Slovakia and come from a variety of backgrounds.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with members of our team as well as other teams within Compliance and other functions within Swiss Re such as Business Governance teams, IT, HR etc.

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards

Minimum base salary for this job from 1500 EUR gross/month/full time. Our offer to you may be higher based on your skills and experience and will include additional rewards and benefits*

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Education & Experience:
University or equivalent qualification
Fluency in English (written and spoken), other languages a plus
Minimum 3 years compliance, risk management or other relevant experience
Experience in an international financial services environment a plus
Working knowledge of compliance risks
Strong communication, interpersonal and presenting skills
Strong organisation, process, and project management skills
Highly creative and able to put yourself in others shoes when developing solutions
Drafting experience, particularly with policies, standards a plus
Strong data visualisation and analytical skills a plus
Experience working with SharePoint or other similar platforms a plus
