iptiQ EMEA L&H is a Swiss Re subsidiary established January 2016. We are looking for talented individuals, who can bring knowledge and skills with an enthusiastic 'Can do' attitude and help us extend the Finance team in Bratislava. The team has numerous responsibilities as you would expect; day-to-day operational finance activities as well as accounting, reporting, controlling and projects/change for all iptiQ EMEA L&H Life insurance companies.

You will be the primary Finance representative on all new business deals, project managing the Finance related activities to ensure a well-controlled onboarding process. You will contribute from due diligence through business agreement to project delivery and transition to 'Business as Usual'. You will bring strong organisational skills to the team and are able to deliver high quality output to tight deadlines. As an important member of the team, you will provide hands-on support when needed, but also help the team to develop and improve their processes. Your skills will allow you to support and perform quality control checks on team deliverables, and ensure that we are fully adhering to both the company's risk and control framework and audit requirements.

• Head of Finance Operations, Bratislava
• iptiQ EMEA CFO
• Group Finance and iptiQ Financial Reporting Luxembourg
• Deal Team and Deal Project Manager/Sponsor as appointed
• Close cooperation with IT and Operations teams.

Main Tasks
1. Key Finance person on business deals/projects
2. Collate and coordinate team input during due diligence, on data handling and controls, during onboarding and post go-live reporting
3. Lead on transition to finance operating models for the implementation of new partners
4. Support CFO with commercials and business case modelling
5. Provide project management oversight for on-boarding Finance tasks, including development and execution of project plans
6. Liaise directly with Third Party Administrators and Distribution Partners of iptiQ in relation to project and on boarding tasks
7. Responsibility for adhering to all group and local policies and approval processes relating to bringing in new business and new outsourcing relationships.
8. Coordinate and assist preparation of timely and accurately data for internal and external business deal reporting.
9. Support audit activities; coordinate and prepare requested information in connection with the external audit and other external parties, like regulators or other governmental institutions.

Requirements for the employee

Secondary without school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Essential Skills
1. You have five or more years of work experience in the financial services industry
2. You have achieved a University degree in Economics, Science or Business Administration
3. You possess strong communication skills allowing you to articulate complex issues in a clear and concise fashion
4. Excellent command of the English language

Desirable Skills
5. Qualification or 3 years experience in Project Management with exposure to deals or integration projects
6. A qualification in Accounting/Audit
7. Experience and knowledge of Life insurance industry
8. You possess a natural engaging and motivating personality
9. German/French language skills
10. PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
