About the Role

In Corporate Real Estate & Services (CRES) the "Business Partner" will help to plan and execute internal meeting, events and conferences for internal customers (Swiss Re employees) as required by the business to guarantee the highest standard levels commensurate with Swiss Re’s image and quality expectations. You will be support to Event Manager and to various business units ensure that requirements for the business are delivered as well as collaborate with other internal stakeholder such as media production, AV services and catering to delivery harmonized services.

Event Management Assistant support
- Development, planning, organizing, coordination and execution of Swiss Re conferences, meetings and events in Swiss Re premises
- Design of event concepts by recommending locations, social programs, catering, give-aways, etc. in close cooperation with Swiss Re's internal and external service suppliers
- Creating of proposals, booklets for inhouse and offsite events
- Acting in entrepreneurial capacity by providing the best solution to client – leading event projects and coordinating all parties involved
- Planning and monitoring of event's logistics, such as venue set-up, technical infrastructure, security, transportation and staff planning
- Providing on-site support during events as required (extended hours, incl. weekends, may be involved)

Post-event production support
- Invoice handling, supplier debriefing, evaluation of guest feedback, final cost statement vs. budget, documentation, etc.

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards

Personality requirements and skills

About You

Education
- University degree (not a must)
- Experience working in an environment with high ranking Executives (e.g. CEO, Executive Board, Swiss Re A/B Band)
- Minimum 1-year experience in event management and conferencing, preferably in an event agency or corporate environment
- Very good MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills

You have
- Event management experience and know-how (ability to direct complex events from concept to execution)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proven ability to work under pressure

You are
- Proficient in English / any other language a plus
