Job description, responsibilities and duties

In this role, you are responsible for the development, implementation and execution of employee and community engagement programs and activities and internal communications to support Global Business Solutions (GBS) division. You will develop strategic employee engagement and communication plans to drive initiatives and culture change and Divisional and Departmental goals and objectives. Working with the Head Strategy & Operations and Community Engagement team members, this role supports engagement and communication activities within and between the Divisions' key office locations, across all GBS Departments and the organizational hierarchy structure.

You will have primary responsibility for driving employee engagement and communications activities for the Division as well as engagement and communications support for GBS Departments including Outsourcing, Robotic Automation Centre, Global Sourcing and Swiss Re Consultancy, as necessary. You will also liaise and work closely with Swiss Re Corporate Communications in the GBS locations. Under general supervision, you will support these global teams helping promote and market our services and solutions within the Group. You will support GBS strategy, transformational initiatives, objectives and priorities, as well supporting Group Operations transformation initiatives, as necessary.

• Develop & Implement strategic communication plans, communication campaigns and communication activities
• Act as a consultant and advisor to GBS leadership on communications actions
• Develop messages to support Divisional & Departmental initiatives
• Assist leadership with relationship management and stakeholder engagement strategy and activities
• Promote GBS identity and value proposition and our solution offerings within the Swiss Re Group.
• Plan, develop and implement employee and community engagement programs to support the Division and GBS Departments.
• Develop and implement metrics and measurements to monitor communication effectiveness

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

• A Bachelor degree, a professional degree in communications, or equivalent.
• Ideally 10 - 12 years of communications experience including internal and marketing communications with a proven track record of increasing responsibility. Change management communications experience is desired
• Ability to effectively deploy various communications channels/tools, including knowledge of social media applications and strategies.
• A results-driven, self-starter with a creative mindset who can operate with minimal supervision.
• Excellent MS Office skills and PowerPoint presentation skills.
• Strong planning/project management capability and demonstrated ability to be a good team player
• A healthy level of attention to detail
• Fluent in English is required, fluency in German is helpful.
