Business Intelligence & Visualization Developer

Your team 'BI Solutions & Advisory' works with all departments of Swiss Re. Business topics range from core Reinsurance (such as Life/Non-Life) to Risk Management, Finance, Asset Management and Operations. On the IT side, you interact mainly with your Data Warehouse colleagues for structured information, but also Analytics experts for unstructured sources.

With a compelling mix of state-of-the-art BI tools at your disposal, you actively shape the user experience on a large scale. Your focus lies on the "Swiss Re Cockpit Framework" that uses standard web technologies (JS, HTML5). Experience in MS BI or Tableau is a plus.
As a Business Intelligence & Visualization Developer, you interact closely with the Business as well as your IT colleagues. Your thorough technical understanding allows you to deliver solutions for various needs across the company. You work in a team of dynamic and talented colleagues all over the globe.

Depending on the staffing of each project, you will focus on hands-on implementation or cover parts of Business Analysis as well. This guarantees for a broad and interesting spectrum of your work and responsibilities; not only with regards to the technologies used, but also Business expertise you will acquire and grow over time. You encounter all complexity levels of requirements: from operational to executive management BI, from standard reporting and ad-hoc analysis to infographics and rich visualizations.
