Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Asset Management (AM) function manages the assets that Swiss Re generates through its core insurance and reinsurance businesses. We do so using a robust asset-liability management process. In addition to matching assets and liabilities, our team optimizes risk-adjusted investment returns within defined risk limits. Our clients are the Business Units, Reinsurance, Corporate Solutions and Life Capital. Their portfolios are managed individually according to their needs and objectives. AM Business Services provides an efficient operating platform capable of supporting all financial market activities conducted by Swiss Re.

You will be part of the Reconciliations team whose purpose is to ensure that reliable and accurate cash balances and asset positions are reported in our AM systems and on custodian statements. You will be responsible for reconciling cash transactions and asset positions on a daily basis, researching and resolving any outstanding differences, communicating with stakeholders to address their queries and suggesting improvements for tasks and processes. The job itself along with the team's trainings framework and Swiss Re's knowledge-sharing culture offer excellent learning opportunities as you would have insights into the investment and transaction lifecycle end-to-end process.

• Execution of daily cash and positions reconciliation for assigned accounts
• Research, resolution and reporting of any outstanding differences
• Communication with internal and external stakeholders to address their queries
• Collaboration in initiatives and new tasks and initiatives
