About the role

Do you love working with data and learning new things? We will give you an opportunity to further develop your technical knowledge by exploring new technologies like Tableau and other analytical tools. Discover possibilities to bring together information intelligence and analyse the data through digitalization tools to draw stories with insights and conclusions.

In this role, you will be a member of the Reward Global Solutions (RGS) Team and report to the Reward Manager RGS. You will contribute to delivering effective analytics and operational excellence on key Reward topics.

Help to set up the annual compensation planning system configuration (SuccessFactors). Support with the reporting requirements for the annual compensation review process globally, ensuring system operational readiness, data maintenance, process and document management and analytics.

Together with the team, you will work closely with the HR Digitisation & Automation team looking for process & system improvements, trouble-shooting items relating to the compensation planning system or related items (such as reporting, maintenance of compensation ranges etc.).

You can provide analysis and insights to support Reward reports and papers, by demonstrating the handling of innovative technologies like Tableau-based Dashboards.

You will assist the Reward Manager RGS and the team to improvement the reporting and analytics competence within RGS, by providing complex reports to deliver analytical information.

Supports specific RGS projects and when required, for the broader Reward Team. For example, you will build reward data, analysis and repetitive reports.

Collaboration with the RGS team on internal checks and controlling issues (such as US-GAAP, PwC).

Together we work with the Group and Executive Compensation Team on the execution of annual incentive plan and related recurring processes.

Work closely with Reward Consultants to support Reward based areas, such as Benchmarking, Job Matching, development of reporting and analytic tools and ad hoc requirements.

The Reward team (which is just under 40 people in 5 locations) seeks to provide best-in-class Reward solutions for Swiss Re (in key matters of Compensation, Benefits and International Mobility) that are compliant and sensitive to business, risk and financial requirements as well as aligned to the Group Reward Strategy. It is a Centre Of Excellence with a real passion for quality, supporting the delivery of an integrated service for HR and the Business on all matters of Reward.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

About you
- University degree
- 3-5 years of professional work experience (in Reward is not a must)
- Use of analytics or information systems have been a key focus, preferably with experience in Compensation and/or Benefits matters.
- Advance expertise with MS Office tools, specifically MS Excel. Experience with Tableau is an asset.
- Delivery oriented, stress resistant, solution focused and analytical thinker.
- Comfortable with working in a cross-cultural, cross-functional and virtual team working in different geographic locations (matrix environment)
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to offer alternative and creative solutions.
- A self-starter who takes ownership and pride in high quality work
- Ability to work in an unstructured environment, under time pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Good stakeholder management
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written English
