Do you have the desire to learn and become a leader one day? If yes, Swiss Re Slovakia Graduate Programme in Bratislava could be a great fit for you.In this intensive 18-months-long learning experience, you will rotate through various departments at Swiss Re’s second largest location in Bratislava, Slovakia.
The journey starts at one of our key departments: Asset Management, Business Services, Finance or Technical Accounting. You will experience 3 out of these 4 departments by rotating to a new department every 6 months.
During your time in the Graduate Programme you will get hands on job experience and have the opportunity to observe different leadership cultures. On top of your everyday job you will develop your leadership skills, participate in projects, get the support of a mentor and more.

Cooperation with Universities
We are trying to get as close to students as possible. Our main partners in Bratislava are the University of Economics and the Faculty of Management at the Comenius University. Throughout the year we organize and participate in several events also at other universities in Slovakia.University of Economics in Bratislava
Swiss Re has several activities at the University of Economics. You may meet our colleagues at subject Reinsurance (Zaisťovníctvo) which is a course fully taught by our experts once per academic year. In addition our colleagues visit other mandatory courses as guest speakers and share their expertise in various (re)insurance related courses. A few times per year the participating students are also invited to Swiss Re premises. We also partner with the University of Economics in unique professional event Model Conference. Furthermore, we offer bachelor and master thesis mentoring for a few students each year.Faculty of Management at Comenius University in Bratislava
At the Faculty of Management Swiss Re offers the course Insurance and Reinsurance (Poisťovníctvo a zaisťovníctvo) once per academic year. Our colleagues from various departments give lectures as guest speakers in areas of asset management, databases, statistics, project management or HR. Swiss Re also offers the know-how of our employees in bachelor or diploma thesis mentoring – students have the opportunity to select one topic offered by Swiss Re and get support from our experts.Day@swissre
Day@swissre is an excellent chance for students from various universities and backgrounds to spend one whole day in our company visiting various departments and getting to know their daily business.It is not important what you are studying, it is more about your motivation and willingness to explore something you have not done before!

University Job Fairs
Den absolventov at University of Economics is organised twice a year, in spring and autumn. We attend this event regularly and are very happy to see that more and more students recognize Swiss Re as an employer of choice and as a stable, international company.Dni prilezitosti in Bratislava is IAESTE-organised job fair focused on IT students and is regularly held in April. Our IT colleagues are always excited to discuss the most recent IT trends with you and how we apply them in the reinsurance business.
Students selected Swiss Re as one of the employers they would like to meet at Night of Chances. When taking part in this event you get a unique change to get to know Swiss Re in an interactive workshop. We enjoyed presenting our culture and sharing our views with curious students.
We are also active outside of Bratislava region. You can meet us at Univerzitny den kariery at UMB Banska Bystrica and at the AmCham Job Fair in Kosice.
