Automation Technician

We are looking for an Automation Technician
(based in SWEP Slovakia, Kechnec)

As AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN IN SWEP, YOU WILL:
- Carry out the maintenance and the repair of the machines (focused primarily on robots and PLC systems) and equipment used in production
- Organize and carry out the routine preventive, planned and predictive maintenance of the machines
- Order spare parts and other materials from suppliers defined in ERP system
- In case of a breakdown on a machine, take all necessary measures to repair it
- Participate on installation of new equipment and machines
- Act as interface between external contractors and internal operation for repair and installation works
- Hands-on assist external contractors on repair and installation works
- Ensure that the contractors will do their job in a proper, on time and complete manner
- Participate/give needed machine/equipment briefing or training to the maintenance team
- Assist to maintain plant’s safety and 5S especially to the robots, machines, and equipment
- Ensure maintenance and repair works are carried out in compliance with Environmental Management System requirements, especially in handling chemical and waste
- Participate in machines, equipment, and facility improvement activities

YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- Engineering University degree – (Technical/Electro)
- Computer skills focused on robots and PLC - Flex Pendant, Siemens S7, TIA portal
- You understand ladder diagrams, electrical drawings, engineering drawings
- Knowledge of vacuum, electricity, pneumatics, and hydraulics area, fitting and plumbing
- Knowledge of Oracle user environment - is an advantage, but not mandatory
- Minimum of 2 years for the position relevant experience; maintenance of automation technology in manufacturing industry
