Job description, responsibilities and duties

Logistics specialist manages the refill, shipments, claims and safety stocks in central warehouses within our organization.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Replenish stocks for four distribution centers (external warehouses) located in Germany,
France and Slovakia by placing purchase orders. Entering forecast orders and releasing
the planned orders.
Follow the set safety stocks and decide on the source (Europe, APAC, America) if
necessary.

- Handle complaints.
Register a complaint in the SWEP claim system (for external claims) and create Non-
Conformity Report in ERP (for internal claims). Create Return material order in ERP.
Register the goods back into the system.

- Invoice orders.
The list from the external warehouse (incoming and outgoing) is sent to Customer
Support (CS). CS places orders and logistics specialist arranges the shipping part and
invoicing in ERP.

- Manage receiving to the distribution center; check if the received quantity and items
correspond to the documentation and report it to the ERP.

- Book express orders internally (at the Shipping department) upon approval from
Sales/EMEA manager. No contact with forwarders.

- Inform Customer Support about delayed deliveries (based on information from the
internal Shipping department) and check/reschedule purchase orders in ERP.

- Inform the manager about differences in the stocks. This means the difference between
SWEP ERP and external warehouse records.

- Manage contact with distribution centers/external warehouses on a daily basis (e.g.
missing labels).

Travels to external warehouses located in Slovakia, France and Germany 2-3 times a year.
