Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Be the technical expert for SWEP accessories and make sure we have the right technical documentation and sales material related to Accessories including making sure it is available in relevant sales channels. The role also involves making sure we follow the regular design standards and regulations related to our Accessories
• Be the technical contact to suppliers and hold technical discussions with suppliers to optimize design (Function/Cost). The commercial discussions to be held by Souring. This also involves securing technical specifications are being met if changing of suppliers is needed
• Drive projects related to updates/upgrades/extensions of released accessories and development of new accessories types (connected to new ideas, need from NPD projects that will come from Product managers)
• Support product managers in developing and managing the Accessory portfolio supporting the Product Roadmap. This includes identifying and drive activities leading to an optimized portfolio meeting market demands as well as driving standardization and cost optimizations (Design for manufacturing).
• Support Product managers evaluating and handling Customizing request related to Accessories
• As a member of the Product Management team, participates in the development of systems and processes related to Product Management.
