Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Develop the right level of supplier quality assurance processes and tools. Implement them in each plant worldwide
- Coordinate, lead and develop regional/ local Supplier Quality Development teams.
- Contribute in the New supplier selection, evaluation and approval process
- Drive suppliers to respond to NC in a timely manner with the needed level of root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Constantly analyse and monitor suppliers’ failures trends, identify areas of improvement
- Drive Suppliers efforts to reduce failures (encourage suppliers to use appropriate quality tools)
- Conduct on site Supplier Audits to improve overall performance. Follow through for effective closure on any findings and/or opportunities for improvements.
- Monitor supplier’s quality risks and propose supplier phase out to Purchasing Managers, Commodity Manger and/or Global Sourcing Manager
- Maintain and develop Sourcing Quality Management System
- Participate in Cross functional commodity teams
- Establish, follow up and act upon established goals that are set within the current business plan.
- Ensure that continuous improvement is an active part of the work
