We're looking for a French-speaking Customer Support Advisor to join our team in Bratislava.
In this role, you'll work closely with our French-speaking customers, helping them get the most out of Sufio. You'll support users primarily in French, while also communicating internally in English and assisting English-speaking customers when needed. You'll handle inquiries via email and chat, guide users through product features, troubleshoot technical issues, and assist with invoicing and compliance-related questions. Because our customers rely on Sufio for legally compliant invoicing, strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential. You'll need to explain complex or technical topics clearly and confidently, ensuring customers feel informed and supported.
You'll collaborate with our product and development teams in English, sharing customer feedback and identifying recurring issues or opportunities for improvement. Beyond resolving tickets, you'll contribute to improving help documentation, refining internal processes, and maintaining a high standard of communication across both languages. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where ownership and initiative are valued.
What you'll do
- Customer support via email and live chat.
- Troubleshoot product issues and explain solutions clearly.
- Help merchants understand invoicing and compliance requirements.
- Join occasional video calls to walk customers through more complex cases.
- Share customer feedback with our Product and Development teams.
- Contribute to our knowledge base and help improve internal processes.
- Engage with users on forums and social media when needed.
What we're looking for
- Native-level French and excellent written English.
- Experience in customer support or a similar role.
- Clear, structured communication.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Empathy and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple conversations at once.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS (or willingness to learn quickly).
- Comfort working in a startup environment where things evolve.
Nice to have
- Experience with support tools like Help Scout or Intercom.
- Knowledge of accounting or invoicing.
- Good eye for design and layout.
- Experience creating educational content (guides, tutorials, videos).
