• You work on integration of Android Things on new platforms, including bring-up of dependencies and Linux kernel.
• You contribute to high quality user space software running on Android Things.
• You create concepts, implement them and validate new functions and features.
• Beside working on customer-projects you are involved in internal research projects.
• Please be aware that we are NOT looking for App developers!
Your profile
• Technical education on university-level (Informatics, Electronics or similar)
• Experience with programming in C and C++ (Senior level) and Java (Junior level)
• Experience in Linux Kernel programming, device bring-ups and BSP
• You have knowhow about the Android build system and Android frameworks
• You are familiar with Network/Internet standards and ARM processors
• Experience in creating or modifying Android Custom ROMs is an advantage
• Experience with Agile Programming (scrum) is an advantage
• You speak English fluently
