Launch technician

1.SCOPE 

Participate and represent Global Purchasing & Supply Chain in project timing reviews to ensure all Purchase Orders are available on time and are issued correctly.

The Launch Technician is the link between the scheduling team, buyers, and project team.

2.ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION 

Ensure Purchase Orders are available and correct when the project/plant need to order parts during the launch of a new project from the build phase to mass production

Analyze Purchase Order requests for new and carry-over parts

Validate information associated with part numbers and Purchase Orders

Participate and represent Global Purchasing & Supply Chain in project timing reviews to ensure all Purchase Orders are available on time and issued correctly

Monitor and document Purchase Order status and start corrective actions in case of delays, timing risks, or supplier constraints

Support buyers with Purchase Orders creation
