Job description, responsibilities and duties
Project assistants handle tasks assigned from project managers helping during the execution of project. They ensure that key tasks are completed within the specified deadline given by the project manager. Project Assistants have an important role in smoothing the internal processes of project dept interfacing between the project and the business area.
▪ Preparation of project documentation, RFQ and purchase orders for sub suppliers, to be forwarded to stakeholders under the
supervision of the Responsible Project manager.
▪ Collecting production basis documentation and prepare for handing over to Production Department.
▪ Collecting erection basis documentation and prepare for handing over to Erection Department.
• Interact with engineers, project manager and technicians to create technical documentation.
• Document controlling management ensuring that transmittal deadlines of documents are kept according to contractual
agreements with customer.
• Maintain main suppliers database in collaboration with procurement department.
• Participate important project meetings (e.g. KOM) and being assigned some tasks from the action lists.
▪ Basic knowledge of 2D and 3D modelling using AUTOCAD and INVENTOR.
▪ Deals with practical arrangements for client visits / inspections.
