We’re looking for an Airbnb Receptionist for guest communication in and around Bratislava.

We are a small family business that grows rapidly, managing over 30 properties that we rent via platforms such as Airbnb or Booking.com. You will be the 5th member of the core team and responsible for guest communications (such as help with check-ins), guest problem solving (such as lost keys) and cleaner management (telling cleaners what apartment they should clean on what day and what time).

Daily duties:
- Greet hotel guests; answer any questions or concerns. Communication is done via Airbnb and similar apps, phone, or WhatsApp (business account).
- Provide an outstanding guest experience.
- Maintain guest records and book reservations.
- Manage check-ins, check-outs and recommendations to guests.
- Organise cleaners and when they need to clean particular apartments.
- Contact necessary staff to solve problems when challenges arise, ensuring guest comfort.
- Handle damage disputes (e.g. when someone damages a chair).

Employee perks, benefits

The nature of the work gives you autonomy, i.e. you will work up to 8 hours per day, but those hours are scattered across the day and the work is purely online.

We offer either part-time or a full-time position to an adequate candidate. You will be expected to work 8 hours per day. Weekends or public holidays, as well as extra time will be covered as per regulatory recommendations.

Personality requirements and skills

- 1 year minimum experience as a receptionist in a hotel is a must, ideally more
- Great team player and motivator, positive and proactive, strong communication and a can-do attitude
- Self-sufficient and self-managing, that does not require approval for everything you do
- You have excellent problem solving and time management skills
- Highly developed organisational skills and excellent administrative skills including attention to detail
- You are totally guest driven and enjoy exceeding guests' expectations
- You possess outstanding communication skills
- You have an outgoing personality and winning smile!
- You have the ability to multitask and handle pressure with panache
- You know when to stop talking and really LISTEN
- You are able to work autonomously with attention to detail
- You have good English writing and speaking skills
