Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for the communicative person to strengthen our customer support team.
Our team is a first point of contact for the customer issues and queries. Our company is growing and that´s why we need more colleagues to make our customers happy. We are supporting customers globally (English/German speaking), providing 24/7 services and are responsible for multiple applications developed for the food industry.

How will your day look like:
Your core activity will be communication with the customer and analysis of the reported issues. You will spend the majority of your time in the software applications hunting for the errors and bugs trying to understand and replicate the reported incident. If you like to enter the IT world, this is great opportunity. As this is just an entry position to our company you can later become a project / service specialist and work closely with the other teams.

This role covers following main responsibilities:

• Manage trouble tickets and perform first level incident analysis and triage
• Gather additional info linked to the reported incidents
• Permanently communicate with our customers per phone or email
• Route the cases to the second level teams where required
• Assist on the resolution until successfully closed
• Cooperate closely with other departments - project management / development
• Manage and control escalations
• Write documentation for the change requirements
• Deliver user remote training

First months might require more presence in the office in Bratislava. Later on, a minimum of 1 day per week presence is required.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Educational Specialization

Food industry or others

Language skills

German - Upper intermediate (B2) and English - Elementary (A2)

Personality requirements and skills

From the potential candidates we expect

• Experience on the customer service role, providing remote IT support or similar position at least 2-3 years
• English at least on the beginner level as English is our company language
• Our team is providing 24/7 support – ability to work outside of EU business hours
• Food industry background is a big advantage but not a must
• Knowledge of GDSN is a big advantage
