We are looking for a creative and motivated colleague, who is willing to work in a company which develops meteorological software. You can work in a modern office environment, where except for work you can use a relaxing room or have a cup of tea with colleagues in the kitchen. .
You will be helping us shape our automated suite integration and E2E tests using our automation framework and Python programming language OR Typescript
Your responsibilities will be:
- Implementing test scenarios
- Maintaining and improving the test automation suite
- Working with developers and product experts on test scenario design
- Coaching team members on automation testing best practices
- Documenting automated test scenarios as human-readable text (for test reports)

Personality requirements and skills
Requirements:
- Experience with creation of automation tests
- Solid programming skills (Python 3) OR Typescript
- Solid experience in test automation using modern testing frameworks for web applications (e.g. Cypress, Playwright, Postman, Selenium, Jest, Mocha, etc.)
- Systematic approach to work (you will be instrumental in managing a growing suite of tests)
- English language proficiency at an intermediate level
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems, and working with the command line shell
- Understanding basic OS concepts (processes, file management, TCP sockets)
- An open mind and a willingness to learn new areas
- Interest in long-term employment
Nice to have :
- Knowledge of REST API, HTTP, XML, and JSON
- Experience with testing APIs through HTTP clients (e.g. requests, httpx, or similar Python libraries)
- Experience with continuous integration servers such as Bamboo or Gitlab CI/CD
- Pre-existing experience with Squish framework or other UI test automation frameworks
- Knowledge of Angular framework and its testing tools (e.g. Cypress)
- Experience with different types of automation testing, such as performance (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner), security (e.g., OWASP), and accessibility testing (e.g. WCAG 2.2 AA).
- Knowledge of Cucumber or other BDD frameworks.
