Job description, responsibilities and duties
Data Scientist Specialist will:
• Propose solutions and strategies in the field of data science and business intelligence.
• Provide vision and direction to the delivery team and stakeholders throughout the project and create data related requirements.
• Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on.
• Plan and prioritize feature backlog and development activities.
• Define vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities.
• Align the roadmap and vision with other Product Owners and customers.
• Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes.
• Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams.
• Preprocess structured and unstructured data.
• Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms.
• Present information using data visualization techniques.

• Very good working knowledge of Python, SQL, Data science
• A solid understanding of machine learning and operations research, and in context of card transactions is a plus.
• Familiarity with Scala, Java, or C++ is a bonus.
• Experience with business intelligence tools and data frameworks.
• Product or project development.
• Facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation techniques is nice to have.
• Very good working knowledge of Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
Outstanding communication, facilitation, and negotiation, and coaching skills, planning and problem solving.
• Fluent English in speaking and writing
• An analytical mindset.
• Problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
