Senior Network Cloud Architect (m/w/d)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Senior Network Cloud Architect. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing and developing the physical and virtual network architecture of our Open Cloud platform, ensuring it meets the latest standards and security requirements.

• Develop and enhance the physical and virtual network architecture of our Open Cloud platform, with a strong focus on IT security.
• Serve as a trusted advisor for OpenStack-based public cloud technology, providing expertise and guidance to internal teams and external clients.
• Implement consistent automation using common automation frameworks, streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
• Be proactive in console work, demonstrating a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and resolving network issues.
• Collaborate effectively within a team of specialists, fostering an open and trusting environment where knowledge sharing and teamwork are encouraged.

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, or natural science field, or equivalent professional training.
• 5-7 years of professional experience in IT, with a focus on modern cloud technologies.
• Excellent knowledge of software-defined networks, routing, firewalls, and physical networks.
• Extensive experience with Linux and network-related services.
• Strong customer focus and the ability to understand and address customer needs effectively.
• Familiarity with agile development processes.
• Ability to assess technical solutions and propose creative approaches to challenges.
• Experience with OpenStack and programming in Open Source projects is a plus.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of German is optional.
