Java Developer

Soitron is currently participating on development of IT application for a major European Union institution based in Luxembourg.

This position is fully remote and we are looking for skilled Senior Java developer, who appreciates complex technical challenges and is able to provide adequate solutions.

Job description:
Development of the TRM Connectivity Module that is a Java, Spring Boot based component exposing TRM data via web services. The development work will be focusing on using proper software design constructs, object oriented design and programming, appropriate usage of design patterns and test driven development. Build deployment and release activity will be automated and the developer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining these pipelines.

Main responsibilities will be:
- Java programming focusing on back-end development and Spring Boot
- object oriented design and programming
- test automation, test driven development (cucumber is an advantage)
- build, deployment and release automation using Jenkins or
- GitHub for source control and release management
