Test Engineer

As “Test Engineer” you  will be part or head of anagile SCRUM team and work together with the other team members to reach the sprint goals. You will implement and test new features and setup CI/CD pipelines for demo and production systems.

Your tasks in detail:

• Evaluate tools and technology for test automation most appropriate to the project.
• Create an approach and methodology for building a test automation architecture and integrate automated tests within the testing process
• Implement TDD and BDD practices
• Track testing tasks in the integrated product backlog and work in close collaboration with the development team and product owners
• Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement
• Develop automated tests for each feature and user story
• Enable the transition of testing from a manual to an automated approach and constantly search for new test automation use cases.
• Implement processes to synthesize and manage test data
• Write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, test cases and contribute effectively to technical reviews.
• Create automated solutions for test reporting and metrics collection, write, automate, and communicate clear and understandable defect reports and establish steps to remedy all issues.
• Identify key KPIs for product quality
• Maintain automation code quality and test pipeline for CI/CD using various toolsets
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, closely monitor test results, and promptly fix test failures

▪ Experience of writing backend autotests for RESTful APIs using Postman Tool (or other tools)

▪ Experience of using SQL and NoSQL databases for testing

▪ Experience of developing, and maintaining functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, and automated scripts
