IT system engineer

Soitron is currently participating on long term project for IT application for a major European Union institution based in Luxembourg.

This application is windows based, containerized application that will need to be deployed, installed.

This position is fully remote and we are looking for skilled IT system engineer, who is able to apply adequate DevOps principles for technical challenges while also be able maintaining infrastructure administration.

Job description:
We are looking for a system admin who will need to get familiar with the application that we are using at site, but not from the functionality point of view, but rather from the technical setup point of view and then be able to deploy and maintain this application.

Main responsibilities will be:
Main responsibilities of this candidate will be deploying and installing windows based containerized applications, IT Infrastructe administration - linux/unix administration, windows server administration, deploying and installing windows based containerized applications.

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Tech stack:
-knowledge of cloud deployment, Docker, kubernertes

• knowledge of windows/Linux servers, IT infra, to administrator level.
• scripting ability in powershell, shell
• knowledge of managing web applications, able to deploy
• managing and implementing CI.CD pipelines (Azure preferred)
• basic knowledge RDBMS ( Sybase ) and on MongoDB
