Strategic Procurement Analyst

You will be responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating demand/supply management, business processes and/or manufacturing/delivery of products and services to policy and country regulatory requirements. Partners with stakeholders to identify/implement opportunities for business process improvement to effectively manage costs, integrate new and existing businesses, and adapt to changes in the business and regulatory environment.
- Assist on implementation of supply chain models - Assist to ensure constant supply of components to our customers
- Set-up and maintenance of purchasing database parameters for parts/suppliers/prices etc
- Assists planning with opportunistic purchases (forward buys)
- Receiving, validation and processing of customer orders from external customers to our world wide supply base
- Manage and administer open orders to meet customer requirements
- Forecasting for future demand and assurance of supply
- Support allocation management in shortage situations (e.g. shift capacity between several customers)
- Processing of return materials
- Coordination and tracking of shipments
- Processing of invoices
- Accounts receivables/payables management

Required education

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

  • Business education or experience in business related functions preferably in procurement (at least a Bachelor's degree)
  • International experience (study or work abroad) is a plus
  • Flexibility to work 'outside the box'
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Dynamic personality, creativity, drive, positive attitude towards challenges
  • Willing to learn continuously
  • Proficient with MS Office applications
  • Excellent English is a must
