IT Business Analyst

We are looking for experienced IT Business Analyst who will join our team. The position holder will work as a Business Analyst within the Static Data squad in Asset Management IT. The main purpose is to communicate with stakeholders and users ofMarkit EDM application, prepare change specifications based on their requirements and
communicate these to the development team. Equally the role is focused on analyzing
current or future functionality of the system and proposing adequate changes to ensure
positive user experience and business needs fulfillment.
Work as business analysts in the squad supporting Markit EDM platform – static
data processes (portfolios) and market data processes (instruments, pricing)
-  Communicate with users and stakeholders of the system, analyze and document
their requirements, prepare technical specification for development team, maintain
documentation
- Triage and analyze data issues / bugs reported by users
- Test the system changes prior to their go live
- Gain thorough understanding the E2E landscape and support testing and rollout of
new products and asset classes
-  Become involved in various projects and initiatives, represent the squad and/or
provide your support and knowledge to the project tea

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

4+ years of professional experience in the area of financial markets
Thorough knowledge of E2E financial markets / asset management processes and
terminology – focus on back-office and middle-office
Proven experience in business analysis, documenting requirements, creating
technical specifications and collaboration with IT teams
 Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to deliver a positive customer
experience.
Knowledge of Markit EDM platform is a major advantage
Knowledge of major trading systems – Blackrock Aladdin, Murex is an advantage
Experience with SQL for data investigation purposes
 Knowledge and experience of database development, ETL tools or development
languages is a plus
Experience with agile way of working
