Test Automation Lead tests strategies and plans encompassing a suite of reliable test cases, determining where to use manual and/or automated approaches. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Interact with software engineers, quality engineers, technical writers, and product management to understand customer needs, and then implement and test high value features and product functionality
- Run and build tests that verify implemented product requirements and validate that the product functions as designed
- Create a Test strategy, Review and Validation of documents and business requirements
- Manage of SIT, Functional tests, UAT
- Coordinate a Test execution, Error management and verification
- Managem of User Acceptance Testing for variety of Customers
- Create a Test scope, Test schedule, customer specific test procedures and scenarios, Defect management
- Create a communication and issue escalation process
- Confirm an UAT data load and validation of availability and functionality of the test environment
- Automation testing
REQUIREMENTS: - Experience working with cloud technologies such as AWS, OpenStack, EC2, Vsphere, Azure, etc, or a willingness to voraciously learn about cloud technologies on the job
- Experience working with software engineering source control management and build tools (e.g Jenkins, Rational, Perforce, etc.)
- 5+ years of software testing experience focused on SaaS or Enterprise software product development
- (PCI, SOC2, FedRAMP), standards, audits and remediation of security vulnerabilities is advantage
- Experience using test automation tools and/or writing automated test scripts. REST/SOAP is a plus.
- The ability to write test cases/procedures to an approved specification and determine their sufficiency to ensure high product quality leveraging end to end system testing and exploratory testing
- The ability to mold, adapt, drive, and own a QA process to fit the needs of the team and the product
- The ability to perform customer acceptance through quality assurance as part of a cross-functional team
- Ability to meet deadlines, identify issues and resolve with minimal direction
- Five or more years of professional experience in software quality assurance and/or development
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, specifically involved with the development of innovative enterprise grade software
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills along with ability to work with others as a team
- Self-starter who is highly motivated by high quality product delivery goals
- Proficiency in one or more defect tracking and test case management software systems
- Comfortable working in an Agile software engineering environment with a focus on the principals and values espoused in the Agile Manifesto
