Job description, responsibilities and duties
What will be your responsibilities?
• Your main responsibility will be the business development of the self-
governing regions and municipalities
• Maintains a high level of knowledge of SoftwareONE service portfolio
• You might be able to identify prospects and new customers through
strategic partners
• Generates opportunities for meetings with key decision-makers to drive the
sales process
• Collaboratively works with the team to develop an overall account
plan in order to maximize opportunities and generate sales activity with
customers, partners, and publishers
• Leads negotiations, coordinates the complex decision-making process and
overcomes objections to capture new business opportunities
• Supports training to customers regarding software publisher contracts and
optimal usage of the license agreements
• Develops and utilizes marketing related events, seminars, mailings, and call
campaigns to increase brand awareness and presence in the local market
• Facilitates all communications, order processing, and reporting of customer
transactions
What do you need to succeed?
• Proven sales experience within self-governing and municipalities (at least 3
years)
• Minimum 5 years of professional sales experience in technology or service-
delivery related industry
• Ability to build relationships and quickly develop trust with C-level executives
• Strong presentation, communication, organization, time
management skills
• Solid problem solving and consultative skills required
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
